Alex Cardi graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Developmental Psychology and a minor in Dance from Plymouth State University. She was an active member of her university’s Contemporary Dance Ensemble and Dance Team as both a performer and choreographer. Her senior year, the dance faculty selected Alex as the recipient for the Contemporary Dance Ensemble Award. This merit award is given to a senior who has shown a strong commitment to faculty and student choreography within the dance division over four years of study. Over her years at Plymouth, she had the opportunity to work with professional guest artists such as Mziyanda Mancam, Urbanity, Bosoma, and Pantos Project. She was a captain of the university’s dance team her senior year. Currently Alexandra works as a Consulting Behavior Technician for children with Autism in Rhode Island. Alexandra joined the FSPA Dance Faculty in 2017.
