Hug a Teacher Today

Today, we are thankful for our top-notch faculty.  We may be biased but you won’t find more qualified faculty. Anywhere.  Check out just a few of our teachers’ credits and you'll agree,

-responsible for professional concert tours in Europe and musical theater workshops in Austria and Hong Kong

-directed professional touring companies of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in 2000 and 2005 and Evita in 2004

-received Master’s Degree in Piano Performance from Longy School of Music and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Lethbridge

​-has served on the FSPA faculty since 1997

-honored to have served as concertmaster of San Francisco’s Russian Chamber Orchestra

-recipient of Mary Ellis Smith Award in 2013 in recognition of outstanding achievement in the study of piano and the art of piano pedagogy

-has played throughout the US, Europe and South America and has worked with many well-known musicians including Van Morrison, Dizzy Gillespie, The Count Basie Orchestra, Peter Wolf, The Drifters and Rebecca Parris

-traveled extensively, teaching master classes in Finland, Germany, Brazil, Italy and the US and was decorated by the Ambassador of Brazil for outstanding service abroad

-graduated from Berklee College of Music

-was a finalist in the Third Paris International Ballet Competition and the Prix de Lausanne

-has set choreography on the National Ballet of Iceland Repertory, Ballet Plus and Dance Express in Denmark, Portland Ballet and Northwest Florida Ballet.

-has choreographed rock musicals, music videos, commercials and industrials

-performance experience includes work at The Bonanza Hotel in Las Vegas, The Jimmy Fund Telethon, The Heart Fund Telethon and Leukemia Society Telethon.

-was the principal ballet teacher at the National Institute of the Arts in Taipei.

-currently performs with American Repertory Theater

-has staged over 50 original works for more than 40 companies and schools worldwide.
